In other words, blame the oil rig workers so the federal government can reduce the pending lawsuits. Gee what a shock, sure didnt see this one coming a mile away.
By the way, for those of you who are about to claim that the current administration isnt blaming anyone, let me remind you that I had to read for eight straight years how everything federal was Bushs fault because he was president. Im simply applying YOUR logic and YOUR spin to this article, therefore its Obamas fault, correct?
Oh and if you dont like if, fk off.

From the article.
Proposals under consideration include raising taxes on small business owners and potentially low- and middle-income families.

Kind of a spin off of this article, let’s see who had the heaviest baby
Best answer goes to the heavy weight champ! lol

In the context of the news article below about NASA and a sky survey that they believe has identified all of the galaxies in about 400 million lightyears from us that have super-massive black holes in their center, how would some of these be inactive? Supposedly our own galaxy has an inactive blackhole. First, I know the idea of inactivity because all of the matter in the local space has been sucked out already, but we are talking galactic centers, the gravitational pivot on which the pinwheel (in our case) spins. So, how would something that is at the center of all that action, stars packed closer than icebergs on the north Atlantic, be inactive?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20061005/sc_space/nasacompletessurveyofnearbysupermassiveblackholes
I’m tempted to give it to Vitamin C and these links indicates my similar feeling. Gene Smith’s summary of the galaxy nucleus shows a very massive site and also "that the Galactic Center region is an unusually crowded place": http://casswww.ucsd.edu/public/tutorial/MW.html

It seems far too "busy" to have built some static zone where it has eaten everything in reach already.

Also, rewrite the article as if it was the other way Switch the Democrats and publicans) and you were the same leftist lune who wrote ot for yahoo.
How would Yahoo news have spun it then?
This is an exercise for anyone believes the main stream media isn’t a liberal propaganda tool.
Please omit your silly comments about home schooling..
How difficult was this article to write from a liberal, loon’s perspective?
@ Will – Yes I am absolutely saying "cross hairs" are ok!! Since the Arizona massacre was done by a leftist loonatic who was mad because the congress woman wasn’t leftist enough. He was mad at her before anyone knew of Sarah Palin. This insane idea of trying to blame Palin for anything is typical os the left. It’s right out of Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals – read it.
@ Will – What do you think "mostly peaceful demonstrators" means? Do you think it’s "honest" journalism?

Just glimpsing at this article:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080814/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_russia_georgia
It made me think: "Wow! We already surrendered to Russia without firing a single shot in the opening salvo!" lol
Personally, I think Bush screwed us over by having us stay in Iraq for far longer than what would’ve normally been allowed.
He said that we won the war in 2003 by declaring on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln: "Major combat operations in Iraq are OVER."
And we should’ve *left*.
But we spent the next six years chasing our tails and spinning our wheels–and not getting *anywhere* anytime fast.
Leaving us…what?
CRIPPLED WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO RESPOND TO OTHER THREATS OVERSEAS–TERRORISTS WITHSTANDING OF COURSE.
Given how Russia walked all over Georgia with cleats–it made me realize just how damaging the Iraq war had been to our own military forces: We lack the capability to respond to other threats which operate in a real-time environment–rather than the imaginary ones that operate in the back of Darth Cheney’s mind.
Is it a wonder why Russia just laughed off our efforts to tell them to back off?
We’re no longer potent in the international theater.
Thanks to the Iraq war–we’ve been *neutered* of our positive standing and powerful presence in the global community.
Thoughts?

They are raising the pay for their own while calling for cuts on all other government workers as shown by this article : http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101220/ap_on_re_us/us_pay_freeze_congress
Now CBS and ABC are running with this story. Will this hurt the Republicans with independents because it proves Republican hypocrisy?
2 points, 1) The Democrats are not and have not run on cutting federal wages 2) Eric Cantor DID run with Tea Party backing, money and on their platform of cutting spending.

Here is a documented form of his speech which he made yesterday, June 2. It talks about Iraq, Israel, Iran and his stance on the issues. He wants to impose stricter sanctions on Iran and create embargos that will work to force Iran to comply with the rest of the world. McCain also acknowledged that the people of Iran want to live in peace, and that the majority do not approve of the current regime. In the speech, McCain also mentioned his visit to war torn parts of Israel.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/06/mccains_speech_to_aipac.html
On his webpage, he speaks of modernizing and strengthening our military. Many people see him as a war candidate. However, Switzerland has a very large and modern military – yet they are neutral and not a war mongering nation. Our military is the backbone of our nation. Iran would be forced to comply with sanctions if the United States puts the pressure on Iran. Our threat of military force would loom over their heads, but we would never have to use it – unless they take aggressive action against us or our allies.
McCain is not against peace. He feels, as I feel, that speaking one on one with the Iranian President would not encourage peace or make him see why the world apposes his actions – NO, instead it would be a spectacle, only giving the spotlight to people who don’t deserve it. It would not deliver peace in any way shape or form. Meanwhile, Iran would just go back to its own business, defying the UN.
For those of you who deny that Iran is a threat, read up on the news. You don’t have to take McCain’s word for it.
This news article illustrates the hatred the Iranian president has for Israel and her citizens: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080514/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iran_israel
This news article explains how Iran is withholding information from the UN regarding nuclear activities:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080527/wl_mideast_afp/mideastconflictiranhamas_080527105255
Iran’s nuclear facilities: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4617398.stm
And now here is the question…
Do you still believe that Senator McCain is a warmonger, and a clone of President Bush? Do you believe in Obama’s use of “McBush” and “McSame.” Do you believe that McCain wants to start a war with Iran, or that McCain loves war? Or, do you believe otherwise?
NOTICE: Your answer will not be chosen if you do not use and make reference to news articles. DO not use spin sites. Use credible material. NO RANTS! Do not insult one another or demonize candidates. Stay on topic. This is strictly about Iran, and McCain’s true stance on Iran. Thank you.
People, the whole point of this question is to reduce blind opinion and bias.
Sure there will be some spin, but at least it will be an intelligent and credible response. I am disapointed that no one has used sources so far.
Yahoo! has too many ranting/ and or opinion questions. No one knows what they are talking about anymore. It’s sad.

In this article,
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070715/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq
Titled Aide: Iraqi PM’s comments misconstrued
The first paragraph is basically just saying what the headline says,
the next TWO have nothing to do with the headline but talk about car bombs and insurgent tortured bodies and one of our soldiers dying (May he rest in peace).
Then the story just picks back up where it left off.
Is this a form of brainwashing, spinning, decietfulness? Don’t get me wrong, the public has a right to know these things, but what does that have to do with this story?
I think that they put this stuff in all articles because we wouldn’t read a story JUST about car bombs. So they feed it to us like a pill you hide in mashed patatoes from your child.
What do you think?
