how the media spins the information/ manipulation of information about war in afghanistan and use of propaganda…forexample are the US military really there to help afghanistan or for thier own benift??any news articles or vidoes would be really helpful please

When I want to "like" or "dislike" comments in news articles, the little circle just spins around for a few minutes then the page says "done", but the number hasn’t changed. Why? Just started doing this with health care comments. Could it be that there are so many people trying to do the same thing at the same time, or is it one of my settings?
I’m not talking about in here – I mean on the news comments. I do it all the time. I "thumbs up"-ed about 30 comments on the health care passage story before it stopped working. Cleared out my cookies, now its fine.

I posed the question earlier and everyone who responded thought I meant on this Yahoo Answer site which I was not aware existed. I specifically mean voting with thumbs up or down on NEWS articles like comments about current NEWS events like the oil spill or van der Sloot, I have my Yahoo home page set up with top headlines from 10 different new sourcs like AP or Reuters. /After I read the news I read the comments. If I want to give a thumbs up or down, sometims the arrow just spins and spins and then no vote and there is an error message at the bottom of the screen in my status bar that says error on page. Sometimes I can vote and the thumbs up or down shows up immediately and other times it doesn’t even acknowledge my vote. I hit refresh over and over but still am unable to vote. I am able to post replies and comments with no problem. I just am not always able to vote on the NEWS articles with a thumbs up or down. I hope I made myself clear this time.

Illegal-immigrant populace in Ariz. falls by a third, study says

The number of illegal immigrants living in Arizona has plunged by one-third in the past two years amid a dismal job market and stiffer enforcement of immigration laws, according to researchers who released a new report.

Arizona saw the largest decline of any state, according to researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies, whose report shows that the nation’s undocumented population fell nearly 14 percent from the summer of 2007 to the first quarter of this year, following years of steady growth.

The report comes as the Obama administration is gearing up to push for major immigration reforms, including a possible legalization program for millions of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
