Here is a documented form of his speech which he made yesterday, June 2. It talks about Iraq, Israel, Iran and his stance on the issues. He wants to impose stricter sanctions on Iran and create embargos that will work to force Iran to comply with the rest of the world. McCain also acknowledged that the people of Iran want to live in peace, and that the majority do not approve of the current regime. In the speech, McCain also mentioned his visit to war torn parts of Israel.

On his webpage, he speaks of modernizing and strengthening our military. Many people see him as a war candidate. However, Switzerland has a very large and modern military – yet they are neutral and not a war mongering nation. Our military is the backbone of our nation. Iran would be forced to comply with sanctions if the United States puts the pressure on Iran. Our threat of military force would loom over their heads, but we would never have to use it – unless they take aggressive action against us or our allies.
McCain is not against peace. He feels, as I feel, that speaking one on one with the Iranian President would not encourage peace or make him see why the world apposes his actions – NO, instead it would be a spectacle, only giving the spotlight to people who don’t deserve it. It would not deliver peace in any way shape or form. Meanwhile, Iran would just go back to its own business, defying the UN.
For those of you who deny that Iran is a threat, read up on the news. You don’t have to take McCain’s word for it.
This news article illustrates the hatred the Iranian president has for Israel and her citizens: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080514/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iran_israel
This news article explains how Iran is withholding information from the UN regarding nuclear activities:

Iran’s nuclear facilities: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4617398.stm
And now here is the question…
Do you still believe that Senator McCain is a warmonger, and a clone of President Bush? Do you believe in Obama’s use of “McBush” and “McSame.” Do you believe that McCain wants to start a war with Iran, or that McCain loves war? Or, do you believe otherwise?
NOTICE: Your answer will not be chosen if you do not use and make reference to news articles. DO not use spin sites. Use credible material. NO RANTS! Do not insult one another or demonize candidates. Stay on topic. This is strictly about Iran, and McCain’s true stance on Iran. Thank you.
People, the whole point of this question is to reduce blind opinion and bias.
Sure there will be some spin, but at least it will be an intelligent and credible response. I am disapointed that no one has used sources so far.
Yahoo! has too many ranting/ and or opinion questions. No one knows what they are talking about anymore. It’s sad.

Can anyone find a news article to match (or relate) one of the following statements:
>Economic prosperity cannot last forever
>To keep US factories open, Congress can increase tariff on imported goods
>In a market economy, making profits is top goal of all businesses
They need to be at least somewhat recent and from a credible source (no blogs). Thanks so much! 10 points to the best answer!
And I did try a search already-

They even specifically rejected the idea when it was proposed

I’d like to see a democrat spin that one? Maybe it will be better if you say something about Bush instead.

Here are some examples of right-wing "spin" articles:
Christian Minister writes "Soy Milk Is Feminizing and Makes Your Kids Come Out Gay":

That same Blogger continues the Michelle "Whitey Tape Saga" long after having been discredited by even the most conservative pundits who were embarrassed by their extreme interest in the rumor:

The "Jesus Camp Lady" Becky Fisher uses children to advance McCain’s attacks on Iran:

I have never seen a "left wing" propaganda site that could be comparable to these… if they exist, please post links?
Nope… Huffington Post and DailyKos are reputable…
you can’t name a lie or half-truth coming from them…

As you can easily read in the first two sentances of the Fox News article the Campus police were the idiots who tasered the kid not any of Kerry’s cronies or body guards but the police. Spining something that fox news wouldnt spin just shows the sad desperation you have.
Yes I notice the Typo Scott B. thank you for pointing that out, but you still dodged the question when I ask a question I expect an answer not some punk who thinks he is smart because he can correct my spelling. Showing my spelling mistake but not answering the question just shows you have no mind and just want to say crap and make an ass of yourself
Examples just look at all the questions listed by conservatives on Yahoo answers they all make that implication.
To clear up my Fox news comment I said fox news is not even trying to spin this, but many of people on the right especially on this site have been trying to spin this.
Peanut you brought up my favorite thing now only if I can find the daily show report on it because it was the best reporting on it

On April 5, Wasserman Schultz said the following at a town-hall meeting:
“We actually have not required in this law that you carry health insurance.”
“What we did is that–just like when you’re treated–that they categorize you differently in terms of your tax return when you’re married versus single, just like we categorize you differently when you’re a homeowner versus someone who doesn’t own a home; just like we’ve categorized you differently when you have children versus not having children.”

I have read that women with college degrees are more likely to self-identify as "feminist". This is often stated as "well-educated women are feminists". But what makes a person well-educated?
1) A college degree
2) A knowledge of classic literature
3) The ability to read and understand the newspaper
4) The ability to sort out the "spin" and bias of a news article
5) an understanding of history
6) an understanding of the "big picture" (wars are fought by people with varying beliefs, not "good guys" vs. "bad guys" for example)
Or is it something else entirely? And finally, does your defnition of "well-educated" support the ideologies of modern feminism? (The feminism of Friedan, De Beauvoir, MacKinnon, Faludi, etc.)
Great point, Tracy: I’ll add another possible choice – the ability to see the "shades of grey".

About: Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard getting married
Longtime beaus, Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard are finally going to tie the knot. Yay! Another celebrity marriage…*Cough-Divorce-after-two-minutes-Cough* Yes, I know I sound like Perez Hilton, but hey…can you tell me how many Celeb marriages have worked out?
….
I didn’t even know the two were dating; let alone engaged. The lovely couple, indeed, was reported to have been engaged as of the end of 2008.
Gibbard and Deschanel both share the same Indie characteristics; Alternative music lovers, unique individuals, both photograph in an eerily “Ghost Rock Star” way.
Gibbard is a musician in the group “Death Cab for Cutie” while his fiancé; is an extremely talented actress. She starred in the movie “500 Days of Summer.”
Hopefully these two stay together; they are the Public Eye Candy, as of now.
