Tokio Hotel family and Green Day fans: heard that…?

On Tokio Hotel’s U.S. site it says Tokio Hotel won the Spin Poll or something and a comment under the article said that Green Day was being mean to Tokio Hotel fans? What’s that all about? I hadn’t heard anything like that, have you? I tried looking it up on Bing but I can’t find any quotes or articles suggesting that.
Yeah personally I’m a HUGE fan of both! That’s why to think Green Day didn’t like Tokio Hotel was like *GASP* lol of course it would make more sense if the Green Day fans were the ones being mean. But then, Green Day speak their mind so…but I can’t imagine any reason for the dislike. Must have been the fans! Thanks for the input, and new answers welcome!

Oh, and yeah I knew Bill liked Green Day. That’s mostly why I’d be sad if Green Day disliked Tokio Hotel, because that’d make Bill sad!! Lol

Tale Spin question (cartoon)?

I used to watch the Tale Spin cartoon as a kid. I saw an article on the internet saying that the final episode was that the main characters all died in a plane crash. Is this true? If so, I’m going back to watching it. I rarely ever watch American cartoons anymore (all the new ones are stupid, only the old ones are good) and I have resorted to watching anime in my teen and adult years.
Lukas: LOL, that actually made me laugh. Imagine Baloo sliding a bomb package off of the plane to blow up a building, that would be funny shyt man.

Are you ready for positive news about Iraq?

We all know that the media and newspapers hardly focus on the good things that happen, not just in Iraq but here in the US, too. Seems that it is time that the media started putting a positive spin on things and maybe this old world wouldn’t be such a dark place. check out this link for some of the good things that are going on in the War on Terror:

Boy, did I get a dime-store variety on answers on this one…lol. For the record folks, most people who know me would call me a LIBERAL. SOOOO, to all you naysayers out there, I say "Get a Grip"…you see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear and there is no amount of positive or negative that is going to change that…only you can do that.

Secondly…..I have a son who is a Chaplain’s Assistant, 1st Calvary, who is currently stationed in Taji, Iraq…just outside of the green zone. In June, he was home for his 2 weeks R&R and we had a long talk about how things were. There are a lot of positive things going on in Iraq and that is what we should focus on. When you get down to it, the number of troop deaths compared to the number of troops who have touched Iraqi soil in the last 5 years, plus the civilian casualties still do not amount to the death of previous wars.

Enjoy life…think positive.
oh..and by the way…here is another site you should visit often:

for those who comment about the DoD being part of the Bush Regime…I hardly doubt that every single person at the DoD is a die-hard Republican.

I'm going crazy over death?

Whenever I think about death It doesn’t bother me that much because I know there’s no way of stopping it. But I was reading an article right now about some guy talking about death and how it can happen at any minute and I got really scared for some reason. I keep thinking about am I even going to know when I’m dead and how I’m never going to see or hear from anyone I care about when I’m dead. I’m making myself really paranoid and it feels like my head is spinning, lol. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I just read an article from NY Times about Suze Orman & how she doesnt invest the way she tells others to.?

Apparently, with all of her ‘great’ stock market & investment advice, she does not even invest in stocks herself. The interview had some intersting things about her own investments. She has less than 1/2 of 1% of her over million of assets in stock! She says that she primarily buys zero coupon munis. And will even chose a lower rate to get AAA ratings.

Now, I dont knock anyone on personal investment choices, but she is fair game as she is supposed to be a fianancial advisor & has repeatedly told her followers, that you need aggressiveness in your portfolio & you should have a certain % of assets in stock. But she has the portfolio of a 85 year old widow taking care of orphans! The article states that she has never realy owned much stocks.

Dont get me wrong, I think she does a half decent job helping folks on her show, but she doesnt even follow her own advice & is called a guru. & I am not bashing her b/c she is a woman. I like some of her advice. Thoughts?
ralphcoder:
million is less than 1/2 of 1% of million. The article states that, she said she has about million in real estate & about mill in stocks. Yes, mill is a large amount, but not relatively speaking. Also, she is not an analyst, but an advisor, that is a big difference. & your lunch money is safe (today)– I have no where near that amount to invest. I guess my point is, she does not use her own advice to make money, & that is HOW she makes money, by giving advice to others on investing. Kind of hypocritical. I feel its like taking military advice by someone who has read a book about it, but never actually had any experience in it. (That was NOT a Bush joke)

I got it from MSN Money central in the commentary tab today. The article was talking about the NY Times article over the weekend. Maybe she did say that in the Journal, but they did not mention that in this article.
saved:
OOps! even I had to give you thumbs up for that! My bad math! LOL. But my point still stands. she has less than 4% invested.

Magniworks, Magnetically Driven Generators?

I’m getting really frustrated, I can find ZERO factual information about this thing and I want to know if anyone has any info on them?
Every article/review and site I can find talking about them is commercially leading right back to the site, can’t find third party opinions :\

The theory behind it seems relatively sound, use the naturally occurring power of magnets or electromagnets to rotate the generator turbine through the power of the magnets but I’m just not certain…

the pull may be canceled out by the magnet pulling the turbine back towards it after it passes it but that could potentially be solved by electromagnets or some force that you can use to manipulate the magnet or its field to block it

but would sequenced electromagnets consume more energy then they would produce?

or do they just angle/position the magnets to accelerate the spinning of the turbine and increase energy output?

WAH! does anyone know more about this? and I would really like more then a response saying its BS I want to know why! like has its claims been checked and such, lol

Does this article help clear certain issues up for Republicans?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090226/ap_on_go_co/fact_check_budget

Or is this another case of what Republicans like to infamously call "liberal media spin"?
I know… and for 8 years you believed things from President Bush that ended up being in direct contrast with what he ended up doing, but believed & defended him. You see the irony here? I guess you guys truly have "seen the light", lol.
And most US Firms fall into the tax bracket that President Obama said would be getting taxed more after 2010. Seriously… look into things… it’s fun.
