I don’t mean to sound like I’m venting. I just want to paint a picture of what’s going on. I feel like I’m trying but I fall short in every area of my life. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong….well I do but I can’t change everything all at once and I don’t know where to start…

My house is a mess and my ex husband is coming in two weeks. He reports everything I do to the court so it needs to be spotless and I have a lot of unpacking to do that’s been there for months.

Also, I recently lost my job. I’m trying to get another one and can’t find one. I go online, I drive around and ask around but I can’t find anything. If I do find anything, my resume is in competition with 300 others and I don’t have a degree.

Also, for now I’m trying to do some freelance writing to make ends meet. I have to write five articles a day to make ends meet. I don’t have any financial help except a very small amount of child support.

My kids don’t mind very well and get in trouble in school sometimes and have poor attitude. I make rules but they’re so often broken, i can’t even remember who did what.

I had lost 25 pounds while I was working but have gained 8 back because of stress eating.

In the next two weeks, I need to look for jobs, finish my house and write 5 articles a day so I can pay rent and my car payment.

My mind is just spinning. I can’t think straight! Where should I start?
Well…he decided to divorce when he moved in with someone else.

When reviewing candidates for academic admissions, admissions officers should consider criteria other than ACT/SAT scores. Certain criteria, such as academic awards a student has earned, the student’s income and the student’s family’s income should determine whether or not the student is eligible for financial aid and/or scholarships.
As Robert Kuttner explains in his article titled “College Rankings or Junk Science” on prospect.org, “When higher tuitions spin off scholarships for other affluent kids intended mainly to raise college rankings, the result is to doubly raise barriers to poor and middle class kids, with both higher tuition costs and diminished aid.” The result of this is poorer kids doing worse in school than kids from more affluent families.
The solution to this problem? First, determine whether the student lacks the benefits of a more affluent family and the better school system that comes along with that. If a student comes from a poorer home and has to keep a job in order to take care of themselves, they should receive financial aid over those students who come from more affluent families who can afford to pay for their child’s education without the help of the state.
Also, students who have earned academic awards from their high school show a dedication to their education and deserve scholarships over those who might just have high ACT/SAT scores .

In a 1978 a small article in one of the monthly magazine from the US Chamber of Commerce, I remember a figure stated as ,000 in investment was required to create a job. How does that square with the current need for suatainable job growth? The real world of money has truely not changed much. What form can the government use to create the investment and marketing tool to make a job happen?

I was reading an article online tonight about how marketing is now shifting to people putting advertisements on the side of their cars and companies paying those people to just drive around with their ad on the side of their cars. I wanted to know how I can get involved in a job like that and how I would even start out by doing that. Im hoping someone on here can help me and has some advice about what I should do or where I should go. Thanks for your help!

Americans are angry with Washington as much for what it isn’t doing as what it is.

What it isn’t doing the most is paying attention to the still-raging economic disaster.

Last week’s job numbers show unemployment nationally bumping past 10 percent and surpassing 15 percent in Michigan. Unemployment keeps climbing, even though President Barack Obama and Congress nine months ago committed 7 billion to creating jobs.

Since then, neither the White House nor Congress has spent a minute honestly analyzing whether the stimulus program is accomplishing its goal, and if not, what other approaches might work.

Instead, the administration is spinning dismal economic reports into positive news, allowing both it and Congress to ignore the economy while they pursue their ideological ends.

It ought to infuriate anyone who’s lost a job, can’t find a job, is worried about his job or lives in a community ravaged by a lack of jobs that Congress devotes nearly all of its energy to arguing about health care.

My taking a deaf ear to the economy many Democrats could find themselves as part of the unemployed ranks after the Congressional elections next November.
