In this mornings Washington Times, Op-Ed columnist Jeffrey Kuner suggests that the so=called "Slaughter Solution", a parliamentary tactic designed to ‘pass’ Bills without an up or down vote, violates Article 1, Sec 7 of the constitution (many others including moi’ agree).
So, where does this leave Pelosi, Reid, and especially Obama?
This is the latest proposed way in which the Democrats want to ‘pass’ the ObamaCare Health Defrom Bill, which seems to still lack enough support to pass the House in a normal, Constitutional manner.

I am so worried about our country. People need to know how badly some elected officials are tearing apart our Constitution. They all need to be fired in November and yes, they should be treated as the treasonists they are. Impeachment and then criminal trials after that if need be.

Jeffery Kuner hit the nail on the head. This bill if passed will be held up in litigation for years to come only to be found unconstitutional in its own merits and that is not even factoring the way they passed it. I say SUE BIG TIME, for AMERICA!

Now what the constitution does have is a little thing called the bill of rights, something the bush administration cared nothing about (don’t worry its just the "patriot" act). Republicans have used this method 35 times during the bush years, first time I’ve noticed it in the Obama years. And this bill was actually passed with a 60 seat majority before the Senator Brown shakeup. If you paid attention in school now what the two chambers of congress must do to agree on a common ratified bill is to simply require an "up or down" vote. School House Rock should be plenty of evidence to derail the logic of you and half the GOP.The simple truth is that this current president knows the constitution inside and out, in fact he was a professor of constitutional law at the university of Chicago before he served in public office. If this is used I would consider it an impeachable offense. This is far too important to slide thru without a vote.
Sadly, Congress has the sole power to impeach congress and the president. However, if we were to get a complete change out in congress this fall, there are ample grounds for impeachment. Really, the federal courts in Washington D.C. should indict the members of congress who violate the constitution on criminal charges. but the biggest danger in congress ignoring the constitution, is that the people no longer see them as legitimate government. This kind of thumb in the nose of the American public could lead to civil unrest. The rule of law must apply to the ones who make the laws.

I listened to his speech yesterday at the school in Virginia, and the cheers, applause, hoots and hollers, was like he was still on the campaign trail.
He is loved by young people, because they are still learning and yet to be the providers, and more likely to be the recipients of Obama taxation.
